Every year, we accept proposals for new, high-quality guidelines during our call for topic submissions. The members of our guideline panels utilize a rigorous, evidence-based approach to identifying and synthesizing relevant literature, which is used to produce trustworthy clinical recommendations. We鈥檙e proud that our guidelines meet the highest standards in guideline development established by the National Academy of Medicine.

PURPOSE AND MISSION

The Guidelines Oversight Committee is responsible for overseeing the preparation of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and expert panel reports on behalf of 糖心原创 in the areas of cardiopulmonary medicine and surgery, critical care, sleep medicine, and related disciplines.

Underpinning the committee鈥檚 work is their mission to optimize patient care by generating the highest quality evidence-based guidelines and expert panel reports to support clinical practice in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of chest diseases.
