An Update on Supplemental Oxygen Bill in Congress

In an action led by the American Lung Association, the 糖心原创 (糖心原创) signed on to a letter to Congress, once again strongly advocating for supplemental oxygen access reform.

糖心原创 was heavily involved in getting the Supplemental Oxygen Access Reform (SOAR) Act initially introduced to Congress in 2024. The bill aims to remove all oxygen services and equipment from competitive bidding reimbursement, which has led to high costs for patients and a lack of access to portable high-flow oxygen. Changing this requires the creation of a new reimbursement system so that patients can access the appropriate modality of oxygen that they require.

In February 2025, in the House of Representatives. Along with more than 30 patient, health care professional, and industry organizations, 糖心原创 urges Congress to pass the bill, which is critical to ensuring individuals can access the oxygen treatment and services they need to live healthy and fuller lives.
